who are we?

Belong was Founded by Anaïs Schicker, a Japanese-German-French-Algerian citizen of the world, proudly born and raised in France. 

After many seasons abroad, she moved back to Paris in 2010.

Despite her dual French-American citizenship, and although she is fully bilingual, she quickly realized that even for a native, the process can be extremely challenging.

There are many aspects to take into account when moving to France : education, culture, politics, bureaucracy, taxes, law and, well, life itself.

Being semi-fluent in French may well get you well-fed, but some of the more daunting aspects of the “Administration Française”, can quickly sour your dream relocation.

Educated in Paris, London and California, Anaïs has spent a lifetime unravelling and demystifying the idiosyncrasies and vagaries of both cultures.
